What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between pages and visits, such as keeping you signed in or remembering a setting you chose. Some are needed for the site to work at all; others are optional and only used if you agree to them.
The cookies we use
We use two categories only. There are no advertising or social media tracking cookies on Chekool.
Strictly necessary cookies
Always onThese keep Chekool working. They keep you signed in, protect your session and account, and remember the cookie choice you have made. They do not track you across other sites. They cannot be switched off, and the site does not work properly without them.
Analytics cookies
Optional, off by defaultThese are only set if you accept them. When switched on, they tell us which pages and features people use and where the site is slow or confusing, so we can improve Chekool. They are not used to sell your data or to build an advertising profile.
How long we keep things
- Your cookie choice
- 6 months. We store your decision in your browser and do not ask again until it expires, after which the banner returns.
- Analytics data
- Up to 12 months. Aggregated usage data is kept for a maximum of 12 months, then deleted. Rejecting analytics means none of it is collected at all.
How to change your choice
You can change your mind at any time. Reopen the banner with the button below, or from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page, and pick your choices again. Rejecting analytics never removes access to Chekool features, and strictly necessary cookies always stay on because the site cannot run without them.
